The mat is constructed of 3 layers:
A foamed vinyl chloride body, yielding a cushioning effect, is sandwiched by the conductive vinyl chloride sheets on the top and on the back. The conductivity of those two sheets differ from each other. Each layer of the mat employs a high polymer-type antistatic agent. A semi-permanent anti-static effect is one of the features of the mat, and it also conducts the static smoothly from the surface to the back sheet.
